Chapter 569: Li Jiuying’s Countermeasure!
Yan Aohan nodded. "This is an S-level protection mission. Do you understand?"
Li Zhi and Zhao Cong were slightly stunned by the term "S-level." Their expressions turned serious. The highest mission rank was 3S. Missions ranked S and above were extremely important. No mistakes were allowed. If they faced difficulties, they could ask any other security team for help. Since they arrived here, such high-level missions had occurred only once or twice. But this was their first S-level mission. It meant Zhu Shun Yao’s protection was the first S-level task since the security company was established. It also marked the official start of their business operations.
After memorizing all the details, Li Zhi and Zhao Cong burned the documents in front of Yan Aohan. These secrets must never leak. Keeping them in their minds was the safest way. With preparations complete, the two left quietly to execute the mission.
Watching them leave, Yan Aohan sighed in relief. At least Zhu Shun Yao would be safe even if he wasn’t there. He thought about the news he had received and felt speechless. Zhu Yanyi just went to a summer camp, yet things got this complicated.
Zhu Yanyi didn’t know someone wanted to harm her, nor did she know someone wanted to help her. Whether enemies or friends, she was currently focused on her rural performance tour.
Starting from the third day, Zhu Yanyi and the others followed Instructor Yang Chuang to perform in nearby villages. These villages were close to Shanghai. The distance was short. They performed once in each place and then moved on. Although it was tiring, no one complained.
"Instructor, is the village ahead our destination?" Zhu Zhibin asked, looking at the village in the distance.
Yang Chuang nodded. "Yes. That is your next stop. The performance is tonight. Since it will be late, we will stay in the village. There isn’t enough space for twenty people in one house. So, you will be split up. Usually, two children stay in each household."
Zhu Zhibin shrugged. "We are fine. My sister and I will stay together."
Yang Chuang smiled lightly. "I know you two are fine. But remember, do not rummage through people’s belongings when staying in their homes."
"We won’t," everyone said in unison.
The villages near Shanghai were decent. They weren’t very rich, but they were much better than those in remote mountain valleys. The houses were clean. Zhu Yanyi and Zhu Zhibin stayed in one household. The rooms were well-ventilated.
The performance that night was successful. Zhu Zhibin did sand art. Keith Hans played the cello and violin duet. Zhu Yanyi played the erhu. Everyone showed their unique talents.
After the show, everyone was tired. They returned to their lodgings, washed up, and went to sleep. Around midnight, a sudden scream echoed through the quiet village. Zhu Yanyi and Zhu Zhibin woke up startled. They turned on the lights and came out. Others heard the noise and came out too. Seeing everyone gathered, Yang Chuang said directly, "Don’t be afraid. Zhu Yanyi, organize everyone to rest at your place first. I will go check what happened."
