The Immortal Emperor understood. "Although this Emperor has not been titled God of Light, I possess the power of light." He extended his right hand, and a beam of light appeared—brighter and more comforting than the God of Light’s own technique.

She continued, "At the same time, I control darkness." Her left hand emerged, and dark energy spread throughout the hall.

"Light and darkness are never opposites. Their existence is symbiotic. Where there is light, there is darkness. People believe they are opposed because where there is light, one cannot see darkness, and where there is darkness, one cannot see light. Thus, they mistakenly believe light and darkness are enemies. In truth, they are not."
