Jian Ying and Yun Niang knew that Ouyang Tianyun’s group intended to visit the Piaomiao Palace. They also understood that neither of them was suitable for the trip, as they were not acquainted with anyone inside the palace.

Even if they had met Ouyang Tianyun and his companions, it would only mean a slightly better relationship. It did not mean that Ouyang Tianyun could bring them into the Piaomiao Palace.

The next day, Ouyang Tianyun led them to a river dock. He took a Cloud Boat from his chest and placed it in the water. It quickly transformed into a small flat-bottomed boat.

Ouyang Tianyun boarded first and then said, "You all come up."

After everyone had boarded, Ouyang Tianyun began to operate the Cloud Boat, and they departed.

Just as their arrival in Piaomiao Town had gone unnoticed, their departure to the Piaomiao Palace did not disturb anyone.

"No one noticed us leaving. That’s impressive," Yan Xiwan said. She disliked being treated like a spectacle.

Ouyang Tianyun laughed. "In the past, the Piaomiao Palace usually sent luxurious boats to pick people up. Since I’m using a Cloud Boat this time, no one knows."

"So, the Piaomiao Palace isn’t as mysterious as I thought," Lu Fang realized.

Since there were Cloud Boats, it meant the Piaomiao Palace frequently sent people back and forth. After all, many people in the palace needed food and daily necessities, so supplies had to be transported regularly.

The four of them chatted and laughed as they traveled.

The journey from Piaomiao Town to the Piaomiao Palace was fast on the Cloud Boat, yet it still took three days to arrive.

Ouyang Tianyun put away the Cloud Boat and then took Yan Xiwan’s hand. "Come, let’s go back to the palace."

With Ouyang Tianyun leading the way, they reached the entrance of the Piaomiao Palace without any effort.

"So beautiful," was the first thought Yan Xiwan and the others had upon seeing the Piaomiao Palace.

Although the Piaomiao Palace was built on the ground, it was shrouded in mist and vapor, giving it a unique fairy-like aura.

Sometimes, true beauty is better when veiled.

As they were admiring the view, two figures appeared before them. "You’re back. Why are you standing at the door? Are you turning into clay statues?"

The Immortal Emperor looked at Yan Xiwan speechlessly.
