"Is that so?" Zhu Yanyi dug through her pile of luggage and pulled out a blueprint, handing it to Zhu Shun Yao. "I was thinking if you had already started building, I wouldn't say anything. But since you haven't started yet, this is my design. Can you build it according to this, Baba?"
Zhu Shun Yao took the blueprint and studied it. The plan utilized every inch of the eight-fen plot. It featured a large perimeter wall. Inside, the space was divided into four directions: east, south, west, and north. In the center stood the main house—a three-story building with four rooms on each floor. There was plenty of open space around it, designed with circular pathways that separated the remaining areas. In front of the main house was a garden, split into two sides with a path running down the middle. This path curved around the house and led to the back, where a garage was designated for parking.
After reviewing it, Zhu Shun Yao nodded. "This is fine. But this house is quite large."
Zhu Yanyi smiled. "I thought about my bodyguards. They can't stay outside forever. To protect me, they need to be close. So, I want to assign them a few rooms to live with us. But since there will be more people, Baba, please find a good excuse. Otherwise, people might get curious if they see strangers suddenly appearing in our home."
Zhu Shun Yao asked casually, "How many bodyguards do you have?"
"Four," Zhu Yanyi answered. Then she remembered Yan Ao Han’s words. "According to them, they will add more if suitable candidates are found. Currently, there are four. Brother Luo and Brother Wang are men. Sister Qin and Sister Zhang are women."
Hearing this, Zhu Shun Yao realized these bodyguards were no ordinary hires. Don’t underestimate four bodyguards. These were assigned personnel, completely different from private hires. This also implied that the situation surrounding Zhu Yanyi was not just about a simple powder. Perhaps the powder’s effects were shocking enough to warrant such protection.
Zhu Shun Yao pondered for a moment but did not press for details. Since Zhu Yanyi had no intention of explaining, she did not want them to worry. As a father, she would play the part of the deaf and dumb. She would wait until she was ready to speak.
"Alright. Since they are here to protect you, it makes no sense to let them sleep in the wind and rain. The rooms are necessary. Let’s follow your plan." Zhu Shun Yao agreed without hesitation. Although he had originally planned to build a two-story, two-room house, he now needed to recalculate the budget. Fortunately, he had the funds. If his daughter wanted a big house, they would build a big house.
Zhu Shun Yao took the design draft and went to make new plans.
The next day, Zhu Yanyi took Zhu Zhi Bin and went to Xie Zhong’s house with Xie Xin Lian and Zhu Yan Li.
Seeing them carry in large bags, Xie Zhong laughed helplessly. "Why are you bringing so much stuff again? We have plenty at home."
Zhu Yanyi smiled. "Part of this is for you, Grandpa. The rest is for Uncle to take back when she arrives."
Xie Zhong looked at Zhu Yanyi. "I received a call from Old Yao. She said you passed the medical licensing exam."
