Chen Ailian nodded, her face showing clear agreement. "I am happy to buy you more sets. But you are right; you shouldn't stand out too much at school. Take one or two sets with you. Keep the rest at home and wear them when you return."
Zhu Yanli blinked in surprise. Zhu Yanyi, standing nearby, quickly spoke up. "Godmother, my sister is still growing. If you buy clothes now, she might not fit them later. That would be a waste. Great people say wasting is shameful."
Chen Ailian thought for a moment, then nodded. "Okay. I will buy fewer clothes. Let’s go buy snacks instead. You are little girls. Your dormmates will be girls too. Snacks help you make friends."

"Yes," Zhu Yanyi answered firmly. "It is tiring than treating three patients in a row."
Cheng Xu laughed helplessly. "Don’t women like shopping?"
"Brother Cheng Xu, you are wrong. I am a girl, not a woman. So this shopping trait does not apply to me," Zhu Yanyi retorted proudly.
Cheng Xu laughed and rubbed Zhu Yanyi’s head. "I won’t see you off to the city center. I return to Beijing the day after tomorrow."
"Okay," Zhu Yanyi said. She knew her university term was starting soon. "I wish you a smooth journey, Brother Cheng Xu."
"Okay," Cheng Xu nodded. He looked at Zhu Yanli. "Keep trying. I will stay in Beijing for a few years. I can help you when you come."
According to the Cheng family plan, Cheng Xu would stay in Beijing for two years after graduation before being assigned elsewhere.
