When Zhu Yanyi returned to Dormitory 306, most of the girls were already there. Only one bed remained empty. Seeing her enter, those resting or tidying up paused for a moment. After exchanging glances, they all smiled silently. Sometimes, a smile is the best way to communicate.
"Hello, my name is Gao Xia." This was the girl in Bed 2, the lower bunk on Zhu Yanyi’s side. "You’re in our dorm, right?"
"Yes, I’m Zhu Yanyi. I’m in the upper bunk above you," Zhu Yanyi said with a smile, pointing to her bed. Although names were already posted on each bunk, everyone still introduced themselves.
"I’m Wang Yueer. Bed 3 is mine."
"I’m Chen Fei. I have Bed 4."
"I’m Liu Min. Bed 5 is mine."

"I’m An Xiaoxiao. I have Bed 8."
Everyone had arrived except for the girl assigned to Bed 6.
"I know your name, Zhu Yanyi. I heard you got first place in the city-wide entrance exam for middle school. Is that true?" Wang Yueer looked at Zhu Yanyi, her eyes shining with admiration.
Zhu Yanyi smiled modestly. "I just got lucky. Now that we are roommates, please take care of me."
"Haha! I have to tell my mom and dad that my roommate is Zhu Yanyi!" Liu Min laughed loudly. With her short mushroom-cut hair, she looked like a very capable and straightforward person.

Li Lili added, "I like it too. I can’t fight, but I love watching Journey to the West. For a while, I really envied the characters who could ride clouds. It’s rare to see someone who can actually fight in real life."
