Yan Hongyi approached, observed for a moment, and was just about to leave when a flash of light caught his eye. His expression darkened instantly. "Everyone, get down!"
She quickly grabbed a student and forced her to the ground. The others scrambled to follow suit. A sharp thud echoed as something whizzed past Yan Hongyi, narrowly missing her, and struck a student from Class 2, Grade 10, who was training on the opposite side. The student let out a muffled groan and collapsed.
Zhu Yanyi’s eyes narrowed. "Oh no."
She didn’t hesitate. Ignoring everything else, she rushed to the fallen student. Her fingers moved in a blur, pressing specific points on her body. The instructors and students who had gathered around froze, watching her swift actions in stunned silence.
" Luo Kun, go to the dormitory. There’s a first-aid kit on the inside of my bed. Bring it here immediately. Everyone else, call the Capital Hospital. Tell them to send an ambulance and prepare the operating room. We need surgery the moment we arrive."
"Okay." Luo Kun instantly calmed down and sprinted away. Yan Hongyi also ordered someone to make the call.
One minute and thirty seconds later, Luo Kun returned with the medical kit. Zhu Yanyi placed one hand on the student’s pulse, using her spiritual energy to protect her heart, while her other hand opened the kit. With a wave of her hand, a packet of golden needles appeared. She untied it with one hand, and the needles seemed to have a life of their own, piercing the student’s body with precision. Only after the last needle was in place did Zhu Yanyi exhale.
Seeing that the emergency measures were in place, she turned to Yan Hongyi. "Did you call the Capital Hospital’s ambulance? Is the surgery prepared?"
"Yes, it’s been called." Yan Hongyi replied. "Since you care so much about this surgery, will you perform it, or will Old Master Yao?" Although Yan Aohan had mentioned that Zhu Yanyi was Old Master Yao’s disciple, she still wanted to confirm.
"What do you think? If I take over a patient, even my master wouldn’t interfere." She glanced at Yan Hongyi, understanding her thoughts well enough.

"Isn’t that your goal?" She ignored her further. Her mood was already bad enough from encountering such trouble at school, but she couldn’t just stand by and let someone die.
"Can a child really handle this?"参谋 Yang frowned slightly. If the calculating look in his eyes weren’t there, someone might have believed him.
Yan Hongyi’s expression changed slightly. He realized there must be an insider involved. He felt a bit ashamed of himself for not suspecting such an obvious person earlier. He wondered what had been wrong with his judgment before.
"Don’t ask me. Ask the director of the Capital Hospital." Yan Hongyi knew it wasn’t the time to settle scores, so he answered thus.
Just then, the ambulance from the Capital Hospital arrived. The people who got out recognized Zhu Yanyi and nodded to her. "The little divine doctor is coming too?"
"Yes. Since I took the patient, I’ll perform the surgery myself." She sighed and said to Luo Kun beside her, "Help me ask for leave. Saving a life is the priority." Then she followed them onto the ambulance.
