"Great, great! Wudang Mountain and Shennongjia. I’ve wanted to go there for ages, but things always got in the way. But do you have time?" Yan Aohan was much busier than her. Zhu Yanyi didn’t think he would have time to accompany her.
"Time can always be found if you squeeze it out," Yan Aohan said after a moment’s thought. He would naturally make all the arrangements for his own destinations. Then he added, "Go to M Country with confidence. Show your true style. Don’t worry about anything else. If the sky falls, I’ll hold it up."
Her tone was domineering, yet full of care for Zhu Yanyi. Her heart warmed. "I remember. I’ll message you when I’m free. Don’t worry about me; I’ll be fine." Thinking of her daily habits, she added, "Don’t forget to rest when you’re busy. You always tell me to take care, so you must too. Eat three meals on time, and make sure they’re nutritious." Zhu Yanyi chattered on with her instructions.
Hearing this, Yan Aohan felt warm inside. No one had ever nagged him like this, not even his mother, who had a rough background. A gentle smile appeared on his face. "Okay, I remember."
After hanging up, Zhu Yanyi walked around nearby, then returned to her room. She shared a room with Tian Yingzi, who hadn’t returned yet, likely out exploring.
Zhu Yanyi took a shower, changed clothes, and rested.
The next day’s flight went smoothly, though it departed early at 5:00 AM. By the time they arrived in M Country, it was late night there. They didn’t mind; they went straight to the hotel arranged by the embassy and rested. Arriving at night had one advantage: it helped them adjust to the time difference quickly.
When Zhu Yanyi woke up, it was nearly 9:00 AM the next morning.
They had arrived in M Country two days early, giving them time to rest. Dong Bocao said to Zhu Yanyi, "Junior Sister, want to go out and look around?"
Zhu Yanyi thought for a moment. "Sure. Staying here just means reading. I wonder what’s nearby."
"There’s plenty to see. There’s an antique market where items from all over the world are sold. You might even find treasures," Dong Bocao said.
"I don’t know how to spot real treasures. I’d probably buy fakes," Zhu Yanyi said rationally and honestly. She really didn’t know how to appraise antiques.
"We’re just looking. Besides, if you like something, it’s worth the money even if it’s fake," Dong Bocao argued. His logic was endless, mostly because he wanted to go.
"Let’s go see," Gu Jingtian said with a smile. "We don’t have many relaxing days. If I didn’t have to check the schedule for the medical exchange conference later, I’d go with you."
"How about this," Dong Bocao suggested. "Junior Sister and I will go first. You go check on things, then meet us at a Western restaurant called Oon nearby. I heard their food is worth trying." True to form, Dong Bocao had already scouted out good food upon arrival.
