Zhu Yanyi knew Yan Aohan was asking if she could use her special ability to explore. She looked around and noticed a corner of broken stone where many ferns were growing. She walked over and communicated with them slightly. Soon, she understood the situation.
"The ferns don't know much about this place," she said. "They said if we want to know more, we should go three li west. There is an ancient tree there. It is at least five hundred years old. It knows some things."
"Then let's go ask," Yan Aohan said. He did not stop her.
Zhu Yanyi nodded. She and Yan Aohan walked west. After walking about three li, they saw an ancient tree. The tree was not very big. It was probably because there was little water here. Its leaves were not lush. It looked lifeless, as if it might die at any moment.

Of course, that place would not be far. Since it was all desert here, the water would be absorbed by the sand quickly.
After Zhu Yanyi finished speaking, she looked at Yan Aohan. Yan Aohan understood her meaning. "If there is real danger later, you can hide directly in your space."
