When the Madman saw Yan Aohan’s figure suddenly appear at the door, and noticed the two bodyguards collapsing without a sound, he knew he was too late. Yan Aohan’s presence meant his chance of escape was virtually zero.

Since escape was impossible, he stopped trying and calmed down, looking only at Yan Aohan. "I didn't expect Young Master Yan to show up here. Why come to visit my shabby place?"

"Madman, you’re acting crazy again. You should have expected me to be here. All those things you did were just to make me appear before you, weren’t they?" Yan Aohan’s face was calm. "So I came specially this time. No invitation needed."

"Who invited you?" the Madman said bluntly.

Yan Aohan merely raised an eyebrow, seemingly unfazed. "Let’s go inside and have some tea."

The Madman looked at Yan Aohan. Knowing he couldn’t escape, he decided it didn’t matter if he followed. So, he walked over with him.

As they entered the room, Zhu Yanyi had already brewed and poured the tea. She glanced at the Madman, pointed to the small teacup in front of her, and said, "Have some tea. The weather in the snow mountains is really cold. A cup of hot tea will warm your body."

The Madman looked at Zhu Yanyi, walked over briskly, sat down, and drank the tea in one gulp. Then she said, "You are the Little Divine Doctor."

Zhu Yanyi smiled lightly. "I didn’t expect my name to be so famous, even known by the renowned Madman."

Yan Aohan smiled slightly, picked up his tea, and took a gentle sip before saying, "You are my fiancée. It’s normal for them to know you. If they didn’t, that would be wrong."

Zhu Yanyi glanced at Yan Aohan. "It feels like you’re quite famous. Just being associated with you brings fame."

Yan Aohan laughed heartily. "Alright, wife. Since we have a rare guest, bring out some food. Give him at least some good memories."

Zhu Yanyi turned around and actually brought out some food, placing it in front of the Madman. She smiled lightly. "It’s the last meal, so you should eat well."

And it was indeed good. The food included meat, fish, vegetables, and most importantly, an apple. The combination was perfect.

"This last meal is really nice," the Madman said with a bitter smile. He didn’t pick up the food to eat immediately but looked at Yan Aohan. "Young Master Yan, why must you take my life?"

"It’s not me who wants your life. It’s my wife who wants it. I have no other优点 (virtues) except loving my wife. Since my wife wants your life, I had to come along with her." Yan Aohan spoke with a tone of grievance, as if he were a great good man doing a huge favor.

The Madman turned to look at Zhu Yanyi. "Little Divine Doctor, I don’t seem to have any grudge with you. Why do you want my life?"

"I just don’t like the look of you," Zhu Yanyi answered crisply, with an air of taking it for granted.

The Madman paused. Could they really talk properly? This answer seemed to kill the conversation instantly.

Zhu Yanyi looked at the Madman with a grin. "What, you don’t believe me?"

The Madman shook his head with a bitter smile. "It’s not that I don’t believe you. How could anyone doubt the Little Divine Doctor? But I don’t know when I offended you."

"You offended all doctors in the world," Zhu Yanyi said with a faint smile, not even looking at the Madman. She continued, "Because doctors are in the profession of saving lives and healing the wounded, we cannot bear to see people die innocently, especially those killed by your experiments. So, you say you didn’t offend me, but in fact, you have greatly offended me."

The Madman was slightly stunned. She always thought she hadn’t offended Zhu Yanyi, but she never realized she had already done so. She had indeed forgotten that Zhu Yanyi was a doctor, and doctors would absolutely not tolerate her experiments. She should have anticipated this.

Wait, how did Zhu Yanyi know about her experiments? A thought struck her. "You sank my island."

"What island? I don’t know about any island," Zhu Yanyi said with an innocent expression, turning to look at Yan Aohan. "Do you know?"

Yan Aohan chuckled. "Maybe it’s the island you shattered while practicing your punches."

"Oh," Zhu Yanyi said with a look of sudden realization. "The island that was as fragile as an egg." She looked seriously at the Madman, her face full of dissatisfaction.

"Why did you like that place? It was too fragile. I was just casually practicing my martial arts, punched the ground, and a hole appeared. Then seawater rushed in, and it was submerged. Fortunately, I was alert. Seeing something was wrong, I quickly ran back to my boat. Otherwise, I would have been submerged too."

She sighed, her expression full of regret. "I originally wanted to stay there for a few more days. I only played there for one day and found a Linglong Grass. It’s a pity the island sank so quickly. What a waste."

"What did you say? There was Linglong Grass there?" The Madman had never thought his island would have such rare medicinal herbs. Every time he needed rare herbs for his experiments, it took him tremendous effort to find them.

"Yes, and you didn’t know?" Zhu Yanyi looked at her with a surprised expression, as if shocked that she didn’t know her own island had medicinal herbs. It nearly made the Madman flip the table.

If he had known his island had such rare grass, he wouldn’t have needed to send people far away to search. He could have just searched the island himself.

"What a pity you didn’t know," Zhu Yanyi said, looking truly regretful. "Then you certainly didn’t know that your island was actually a huge meteorite."

The Madman’s expression grew even worse. He indeed didn’t know this. He thought it was just an isolated island. After all, there were many isolated islands in China. That island was perfect for his defense and experiments. He never imagined it was a meteorite.

"See, you know nothing. You are really stupid. What were you doing experiments for up there?" Zhu Yanyi sneered. "Were you just standing there looking into the distance every day? Or writing a couple of sentimental poems with no real emotion? I don’t think you have such poetic sentiment, nor do you have such literary talent."

Zhu Yanyi spoke without caring about anyone’s feelings. She couldn’t win against Yan Aohan, but against others, her sharp tongue was absolutely first-class.

The Madman felt her throat turn salty, and a trace of blood flowed from the corner of her mouth. She seemed unaware of it. At this moment, she was filled with rage. Her eyes were wide with fury as she stared at Zhu Yanyi. She wanted to kill someone, especially the woman in front of her.
