Zhu Yanyi’s apparent laziness was, in truth, a manifestation of her inherent indifference. No one could predict her actions because she simply did not care enough to engage in petty schemes. Her laziness was a shield; by ignoring others, she avoided conflict and preserved her own peace. It was a choice that brought her comfort and joy.
The Silver Fox understood this quickly. He nodded slightly. "This personality is excellent. You need not worry about her meddling in other people's affairs."
Yan Aohan chuckled. "Exactly. Zhu Yanyi would never interfere in matters that do not concern her." He smiled faintly and changed the subject. "Do not ask about this. Tell me about your time abroad."
The Silver Fox glanced at Yan Aohan. He suspected that Zhu Yanyi’s carefree nature was the result of Yan Aohan’s doting.
"Very well. I will continue with my story from abroad." The Silver Fox poured tea for everyone before speaking. "During my years wandering overseas, my primary goal was to identify which factions were connected to the Holy Cult. It was largely a blind search, but I have made some discoveries."
His expression turned serious. "First, the Western Church of Light is connected to the Holy Cult. In the West, it is also known as the Holy Church of Light."
"One Eastern Holy Cult, one Western Holy Cult. This planet has become a breeding ground for such organizations," Yan Aohan sneered. "I assumed the Westerners would manage their own affairs. It seems their oversight is lacking. They produce war maniacs and cults like the Holy Church of Light."
"Westerners think differently from us," the Silver Fox agreed, nodding seriously. "So, what is your plan?"
"Destroy them," Yan Aohan said calmly, his voice carrying a hint of killing intent.
"You are not the master of this planet. If you destroy one, two more like it may arise. Will you destroy them all?" The Silver Fox sighed, helpless at Yan Aohan’s simplistic solution.
Yan Aohan smiled lightly. "When I came to this planet, I knew certain events were inevitable. I have tried to prevent some wars, but perhaps I have done too much. They must taste the bitter fruit of their own making."
"You two are speaking in riddles. I do not understand a word," Zhu Yanyi said, looking between them.
Yan Aohan looked at her. "It is not that I will not tell you. Your cultivation is not yet sufficient. When your internal energy reaches the Hua Xu stage, I will tell you everything."
Zhu Yanyi nodded. "Then you have a long wait. But I am not curious about your riddles. If you do not tell me, it means I am not ready to handle it. So, do not speak of it now. We can talk later."
She truly lacked curiosity. The Silver Fox looked at her in disbelief. "You are not curious at all?"
Zhu Yanyi glanced at her. "It is not that I am not curious. I know that curiosity is useless. Why bother? It only causes anxiety. It is not worth it. Besides, if curiosity were useful, Aohan would have told me already."
The Silver Fox looked at Zhu Yanyi, then at Yan Aohan, and laughed. "Excellent. This personality is perfect. Those people will be furious when they see it. Do not change."
Zhu Yanyi was amused by his reaction. She leaned toward Yan Aohan and whispered, "What is wrong with him? Did I upset him?"
Yan Aohan looked at the Silver Fox and nodded firmly. "He is likely upset by you."
Zhu Yanyi raised an eyebrow. "She is so weak. If she is upset by this, she will end up in a mental hospital if I do anything else."
"Perhaps," Yan Aohan agreed with his wife.
"Hey, you two. I am still sitting here," the Silver Fox said, laughing helplessly.
Zhu Yanyi made a face, stood up, and said, "I am going to the restroom." She left the room.
Watching her back, the Silver Fox asked Yan Aohan, "Has she always been like this?"
"Through these reincarnations, she has lost her memories but gained a state of mind. Having experienced much, she understands that some things should not be taken to heart. Caring only gives her enemies satisfaction. To care is to be affected, so she chooses not to care. Now, only medicine and a few close people matter to her." Yan Aohan’s eyes showed pain. She had suffered greatly in past lives.
The Silver Fox looked at Yan Aohan with dissatisfaction. "With your power, how could you let her suffer for several lifetimes?"
Yan Aohan sighed. "My power is real, but if someone deliberately hides her information, finding her is difficult. In the previous life, I could have found her, but that person forced a Yellow String Marriage upon her, binding her to a puppet created by her. Although she was alert and divorced her in less than a year, she became even more detached from the world. If she had not accumulated karmic merit and power of faith, I would not have found her."
"That bastard," the Silver Fox said, his eyes full of anger. "He is still not satisfied." The events of the past had left many with regrets, including the Silver Fox himself. His anger grew.
"If she were satisfied, she would not be interfering with this realm. I have checked all dimensional entrances recently. Several have cracks caused by her. Fortunately, I discovered them early, or this world might have collapsed." Yan Aohan sighed. "Even so, I know this world can only last thirty more years. If she does not become the Medical God within thirty years, I must search for her in the next life. Fortunately, we are now bound by the Purple-Gold Red String, and I have marked her with the title of Yan Queen. Therefore, no matter which world she is in, I can find her quickly."
"Thirty years. Only thirty years remain," the Silver Fox sighed deeply. This was not good news. "Do you have confidence in her?"
