Chapter 189: A Choice Between Two

Zhu Yanyi nodded. "I’ll handle the trademark design. I’m quite good at this."

"What symbol do you plan to use?" Zhu Shun Yao asked casually.

"You’ll see then," Zhu Yanyi said with a smile, looking mysterious.

Zhu Yanyi had already decided. She would use the Azure Sovereign Qingdi’s portrait as the logo and the characters "Azure Sovereign Qingdi" as the brand name. Azure Sovereign Qingdi was an ancient god of medicine and also the god of all living things, deeply understanding various plants. The name itself implied rising high like clouds and lush green vitality, essentially meaning the ruler of green plants. Zhu Yanyi might not be ambitious, but Zhu Shun Yao was. If the Zhu family gained strength, everything would become easier. So, Zhu Yanyi naturally wanted her family to prosper.

The next day, Zhu Shun Yao became busy. He went to the Industry and Commerce Bureau to apply for an individual business license, learned about trademark registration procedures, and then went home to write a homestead application. He was so busy he felt dizzy.

Zhu Yanyi was busy too. Since the outing was on Sunday, she called a meeting with class monitors on Friday. She asked them to ensure safety measures were in place and to confirm the teachers in charge. On Saturday morning, classes were held. In the afternoon, students went home to prepare. On Sunday, they gathered at school to depart for Sicheng Mountain for a picnic.

For this picnic, Zhu Shun Yao specially had people pick many tender vegetables. Without Zhu Yanyi needing to ask, he had them delivered by tricycle to the foot of Sicheng Mountain. When everyone arrived, they would just carry the supplies up themselves.

Zhu Zhibin was unhappy for a long time because he couldn’t go to Sicheng Mountain. It was only after Zhu Shun Yao promised him many treats and said the whole family would go on a trip after his two older sisters finished their entrance exams that he became happy again.

Early in the morning, Zhu Yanyi brought a water bottle and a backpack filled with supplies to school.

When the school announced a picnic for the entire fifth grade, some parents were reluctant. But when they heard Zhu Yanyi was organizing it personally, they agreed. There was no choice. Now, not only did students trust Zhu Yanyi, but parents did too. Their only sigh was, "This is someone else’s child."

As "someone else’s child," Zhu Yanyi arrived first. She had the class monitors count the students to confirm the numbers. Then, she asked everyone to check if they had brought all their items. Once everything was confirmed, they set off together.

Walking from school to Sicheng Mountain took half an hour. There were no buses, so they had to walk. But everyone was excited. For students, this was a rare chance to get fresh air, so they were extremely happy.

Sicheng Mountain was called a mountain, but it was actually a hill. Its elevation was only eight hundred meters, truly a small hill. However, the hill stretched twenty-seven kilometers in total length. It couldn’t compare to large mountain ranges, but it was a relatively long landform nearby, passing through many towns. That’s why locals called it a mountain. Sicheng Mountain referred only to the part near Sicheng Town. Legend said that in ancient times, Sicheng Town had four city walls to defend against pirates from the sea. Over time, the walls disappeared, leaving no trace of their foundations. But the town’s name remained unchanged, still called Sicheng Town, and the hill was named Sicheng Mountain.
