“Sigh. To be precise, we didn’t have time to buy tickets,” the man said. “My name is Zhou Tong. This is my cousin, Zhou Qian. We originally bought two tickets. But we saw a pitiful couple whose tickets were stolen. Their despair was heartbreaking. So, we gave them our tickets.”

Zhou Tong looked helpless. “We gave the tickets away, so we had none. That’s how we ended up like this.”

Yan Aohan looked at them. “Come down. Let’s talk inside the carriage.” He turned and walked away, expecting them to follow.

Yan Aohan entered through the window. Zhou Tong and Zhou Qian followed him in.

Seeing them enter, Zhu Yanyi raised an eyebrow. “The ones on the roof were you two?”

Yan Aohan nodded slightly. He closed the window, opened the compartment door, and said to Zhou Tong and Zhou Qian, “Tell us your story.”

“What story?” Zhou Tong was confused. “We already told you everything.”

“So there is something you haven’t said? Be honest. Where did you come from?” Zhu Yanyi asked curiously.
