"Alright." Yan Xiwan agreed.

Usually, Yan Xiwan did not intervene, but whenever a special case arose, she would step in.

She informed Ouyang Tianyun, who nodded in understanding. she then turned the car around, and the couple headed directly to the First Hospital.

As soon as Yan Xiwan entered the hospital, the director was waiting. she handed her a new white coat as they walked. "This patient was brought in around four in the afternoon. her body is completely rotting, yet she is still alive. We used various instruments to scan her, but found no signs of physical trauma. That is why we called you."

Yan Xiwan hummed. "If instruments cannot detect the cause, it is usually poisoning, a gu curse, or witchcraft."

"We must trouble you, Divine Doctor Yan," the director said hurriedly.

Yan Xiwan hummed again and followed the director into the emergency room.

Inside, a patient with skin that had rotted away entirely lay on the bed, surrounded by doctors and nurses.

Yan Xiwan approached, examined the patient briefly, and then asked Ouyang Tianyun to place her medical kit nearby. She opened it, took out a bottle, and tossed it to the director. The director quickly poured out the pills and distributed them.

Yan Xiwan said to Ouyang Tianyun, "Notify the relevant parties. There is a sorcerer in a cave in the western mountains. Have them search for him."

Ouyang Tianyun nodded, indicating he understood, and went outside to make the call.

"Understood," the director nodded seriously.

"Okay," the director nodded again. "Dr. Yan, is he safe now?"

"He needs to detoxify first. Only after detoxification can we proceed with further treatment. The detoxification process takes seventy-two hours. During this time, no one except designated medical staff should enter."

Yan Xiwan continued, "Also, remember to spray disinfectant in the room every three hours."

"Understood," the director nodded.

"Alright, I will go to the practice chamber nearby. Call me if there are any issues."

"Okay," the director replied, then went to arrange for other medical staff.

Yan Xiwan left and went to her temporary practice chamber.

Yan Xiwan rarely practiced at the hospital, but a temporary practice chamber was always prepared for her in case she needed to see patients.

Once inside, Yan Xiwan nodded slightly to Ouyang Tianyun. "Do not let anyone in."

Ouyang Tianyun hummed. "Do your work. I will ensure no one disturbs you."

"Good." Yan Xiwan began taking out numerous herbs from her Ruyi Space and started brewing medicine.
