“Snap!”
In his sleep, Li Yi sensed footsteps approaching.

Without hesitation, he picked up the chopsticks and began to eat.
Since there was only one box of food per person, they ate quickly, and before long, both the father-in-law and son-in-law had finished.

“No need to rush—sit down for a bit!”

“How have things been at home lately?”

“What about you? I heard from Long Yin that the land you bought has been approved. Are you planning to build a cold storage facility?” Jiang Shiying asked.
“For now, I plan to use it to build a cold storage facility!” Li Yi replied.
“For now?”
“Yeah, I have big plans for that plot down the road, but for now, I’ll just build a small cold storage facility!”
Jiang Shiying furrowed his brow but didn’t press the issue. Instead, he changed the subject and said, “I heard you came here this time to meet that businessman from Hong Kong. Is that right?”
“Right!”

Li Yi was no fool; he could tell from the tone that his father-in-law had certainly looked into Huang Lixing.
“I do. Huang Lixing is a triad boss in Hong Kong. He mainly runs casinos and smuggling operations, and he’s got plenty of ruthless thugs under his command!” Li Yi replied.
“Since you know that, why would you want to get involved with such people? You must realize that people like him are the least trustworthy and the most unscrupulous. Getting mixed up with him is like courting danger!”
Jiang Shiying continued, “Besides, with the money you’re making now, you could spend it for two lifetimes and still have plenty left. Why bother dealing with those people?”
