Chapter 710: The Business Delegation!

Madam Alogesang looked coldly at Grandpa Yan. "You are the father, but have you acted like one? Solve this yourself. If you make my son unhappy, you won’t have a happy life either."

Alogesang hated using children’s marriages as bargaining chips. He ignored Grandpa Yan and left directly.

Grandpa Yan was startled. Oh no, his wife was angry. He rubbed his nose. He only meant well. He thought the Guan girl was really nice. Why didn’t anyone understand? Did he really do wrong?

Let’s not worry about that. Let’s look at Zhu Yanyi.

Zhu Yanyi walked into the Capital Hospital. She took Zhu Yanli and Zhu Zhibin straight to Old Master Yao’s practice chamber. Old Master Yao was wearing reading glasses and reading a newspaper.

"Grandpa Yao," Zhu Yanyi said.

Old Master Yao smiled widely when he saw her. "I thought you would come these days."

"I arrived the day before yesterday. I rested then. Yesterday, Brother Yan took us to buy clothes. We left in a hurry, so we didn’t pack many clothes. Today, I came to see you. Am I a good girl?"

She put down the things in her hands. "Specialties from home."

She used scissors to cut open the vacuum packaging. There were four tomatoes in the bag. Zhu Yanyi went to wash them, then gave one to each person.

"Grandpa Yao, taste this. Our tomatoes are delicious."

Old Master Yao watched Zhu Yanyi bite into a tomato. She laughed. "You said you brought these for me. Why did you wash four, but I only get one?"

"I only ate one too. I brought so many. You can’t eat them all alone. Grandpa Yao, you must know how to share. Sharing brings happiness."

Zhu Yanyi answered with a smile, making funny faces as she spoke.

"Ha, what are you eating?" Gu Jingtian walked in just then. She saw the tomato in Zhu Yanyi’s hand. "Tomatoes? Are there more?"

Zhu Yanyi pointed to the bag nearby. "I brought plenty. Tomatoes and cucumbers. Take what you want. Wash them yourself. They are for Grandpa Yao anyway."

She was acting so obedient, yet so direct. It wasn’t hers, so she didn’t care. Old Master Yao blew her beard and glared at Zhu Yanyi.

Gu Jingtian didn’t hesitate. He took out a bag of cucumbers, opened it, picked one, washed it, and took a bite. He chewed and gave a thumbs up.

"Little Junior Sister, your cucumbers are great."

"Of course. We grew them ourselves. That’s why they taste so good."

Zhu Yanyi continued eating her tomato. "But these are for Grandpa Yao. If you want more later, come down with me. I have more in my car. Take some back for Senior Sister-in-law to taste."

She spoke directly. She wouldn’t tease Old Master Yao for now.

"Then I won’t be polite."

Gu Jingtian didn’t hold back. Such delicious food had to be taken home. After finishing the one in his hand, he took another. This time, he didn’t even wash it. He just bit into it.

"Actually, it tastes good without washing."

"It’s fine to eat unwashed. We don’t use pesticides on our cucumbers. But I still think washing is cleaner," Zhu Yanyi answered with a smile.

Old Master Yao looked at Gu Jingtian. "Eat less of my things. They are mine."

Gu Jingtian grinned, looking particularly shameless. "Master, you can’t eat so much alone. Give me some. Don’t be so stingy."
