The words sounded quite strange. Luo Gang, standing nearby, said, "Miss, do you suspect this person is wearing a human skin suit?"
Zhu Yanyi nodded. "Probably. But we’ll only know for sure after we catch her. Luo Gang, your moves are fast, ruthless, and precise. Kill this person if you must, but do not let her go." It was the first time Zhu Yanyi had issued a kill order.
Luo Gang was slightly stunned. She knew Zhu Yanyi was a gentle doctor who had never harmed anyone. Yet now, she was ordering her to kill. Just hearing her tone, she realized this enemy was no ordinary foe. If she couldn’t be captured, she had to be killed. Luo Gang understood. She signaled to Wang Ye. Since Zhu Yanyi had spoken, she would execute the order perfectly.
"What exactly are you?" the man looked at Zhu Yanyi, trying to see through her.
Zhu Yanyi tilted her head. "I’m just a doctor. I happen to know about 'Red Powder Skeletons.' So I want to know your purpose. Will you tell me yourself, or will you talk after my men catch you?"
Although only her eyes were visible, they showed absolute contempt. She looked down on Zhu Yanyi. She was just a little girl. What was there to pretend about in front of her? She looked at her calmly. "If you have the skill, try catching me." She was certain they lacked the ability. Her skills were top-tier in her organization.
"Why should I catch you? I won’t move. Brother Luo, you go." Zhu Yanyi smiled cunningly. She didn’t need to act; someone else could do it.
In an instant, Luo Gang and Wang Ye exchanged a signal. Luo Gang didn’t move, but Wang Ye did. The man was stunned. Before he could react, he was knocked to the ground. He spun around and vanished from sight, hidden within the flesh-like disguise.
Zhu Yanyi smiled lightly. She scattered a handful of red powder. A faint red figure flickered into view. Luo Gang kicked out, sending the figure flying. Wang Ye stepped forward, flipped her hand, and pinned the man to the ground. "Niu Chuntian, where are the handcuffs?" Wang Ye called out.
Niu Chuntian was startled. She quickly retrieved the handcuffs from behind her back and handed them to Wang Ye. Wang Ye cuffed one hand and chained the other to the window frame. The man tried to struggle. Zhu Yanyi stood up. "Troublesome." She took out a pill and tossed it to Luo Gang. "Force it down her throat. It prevents suicide attempts."
Luo Gang raised an eyebrow. He forced the pill into the man’s mouth. The man collapsed instantly, one hand still chained to the window.
"What happened to him?" Niu Chuntian asked with concern.
Zhu Yanyi smiled calmly. "Nothing serious. I’ve been practicing new medicines lately. Some cause sleep. I wasn’t sure of the effect, so I used her for an experiment."
"Miss, he’s asleep. How will you interrogate him?" Wang Ye asked.
Zhu Yanyi laughed. "Her techniques are clearly a form of Japanese ninjutsu, though low-level. Also, although she speaks Chinese, she isn’t fluent. I don’t know if she’s actually Japanese. Interrogation isn’t my strong suit." Her words implied her earlier questioning was just a pretense.
Niu Chuntian said, "Then let us interrogate her." She understood clearly. If Zhu Yanyi said so, this man was definitely significant. If they could extract information, they might catch a big fish.
