Zhu Yanyi glanced at Niu Chuntian. "To be honest, this is not a job you can handle. You will see why soon."
She stood up and walked to the medical kit. She took out a bottle and said to Niu Chuntian, "Go get a watering can."
"Why do you need a watering can? Are you sweeping the floor at midnight?" Niu Chuntian looked at her with curiosity.
Luo Gang slapped Niu Chuntian on the back. "Stop asking questions. Just go get it."
"Okay. Do I need to put water in it?" Niu Chuntian asked.
Zhu Yanyi nodded. "Half a pot of water is enough."
Niu Chuntian did not know what she wanted to do. She brought the watering can over. It indeed had half a pot of water. Zhu Yanyi poured the contents of her bottle into the can. Then she took out another bottle and threw it to Luo Gang. "Everyone take one pill first."
Luo Gang nodded. She took out the pills and distributed them to everyone present. Then she returned the rest to Zhu Yanyi.
Zhu Yanyi put the bottle away. She started sprinkling water all over the room. She focused mostly on the area below the window and near the door.
"You are really sweeping the floor," Niu Chuntian said, still confused.
Zhu Yanyi did not answer. She only spoke after finishing the sprinkling. "The show is just starting. These are good props." She put the watering can aside and sat down with a smile, looking out the window. "Actually, I really like watching plays. But I never like to act in them."
People who know how to watch plays do not want to act. It is too tiring. But that does not mean they cannot act.
Luo Gang and Wang Ye did not understand why Zhu Yanyi said this. Zhu Yanyi looked out the window again and smiled. "The time is right. The guests are coming."
Guests? Luo Gang and Wang Ye did not know how she predicted someone would come. Niu Chuntian also did not know what she was planning.
Five minutes later, shadows appeared at the window. More shadows appeared at the door. There seemed to be more than one person. Zhu Yanyi walked to the sofa where Zhu Zhibin was sleeping. She looked out the window, ignoring the people outside.
The people outside and inside faced each other. No one moved. The sound of a gun being cocked was very clear. Zhu Yanyi raised an eyebrow. "I do not like fighting. I especially dislike being pointed at with a gun."
She flicked her finger. A golden light shot out. There was a muffled groan. Someone clearly fell down. The people at the window did not move. They probably knew that moving now meant losing control. So they stayed still.
"Friends, let us both step back. Give us the person you caught today," a voice from the window said. The person was backlit by the moon, so his face was invisible. But his tone showed his intent.
Zhu Yanyi raised an eyebrow. "You hurt Luo Wen."
"Yes," the man answered. He did not feel the need to hide it. Or perhaps he felt he held the power. His answer was very firm.
Zhu Yanyi nodded. "I see. Then you will stay here."
As she spoke, she shook her hand slightly. A sweet fragrance spread out. With the fragrance, Niu Chuntian clearly saw blue powder appear on the wet floor. The powder drifted directly toward the people outside.
