There was a direct bus from the Military Medical Affiliated High School to Kyoto University. However, since they were representing their school, the administration was very generous and allowed them to take a taxi.
They arrived quite early. Teacher Fang mainly helped Zhu Yanyi check her belongings. "Don't lose your competition ID. Check your pens and necessary stationery again. There will be scratch paper inside, so you don't need to bring any."
Zhu Yanyi nodded slightly, indicating she understood. "I have checked my stationery and pens. I haven't forgotten my ID, nor have I lost it. I didn't plan to bring scratch paper either."
The exam lasted two hours. Each participant had their own seat, with a distance of about two tables between them. Even if someone wanted to cheat, it was impossible.
Upon receiving the test paper, Zhu Yanyi scanned it first to assess the difficulty of the math problems. Only then did she begin answering calmly.

She originally intended to wait until the unified submission time to leave. However, she keenly noticed a girl in the corner clutching her stomach, looking very distressed. Zhu Yanyi frowned slightly, then raised her hand. When the invigilator approached, she asked, "Teacher, may I submit my paper?"
"Yes. Aren't you going to check it?" the invigilator replied.
"I have already checked it. I will submit it now." She handed her paper to the invigilator and whispered, "Teacher, the girl in the left corner looks very painful. It would be best to give her a cup of hot water."
The invigilator was also female. Seeing the girl's condition, she immediately understood. She nodded slightly. "I know."
Zhu Yanyi smiled and walked out. The invigilator spoke to the other invigilator nearby, then asked an assistant outside to bring a cup of hot water. They placed it on the girl's desk. "Drink some hot water. There is still time."
The girl looked at the invigilator, gratefully took the hot water, and sipped it slowly.
Zhu Yanyi walked out of the classroom. Teacher Fang was waiting outside. Seeing her emerge, she hurried over. "Finished?"

"Okay. But I will still pay. The principal said all food and transportation expenses are reimbursable by the school. Let me act like a big spender too," Teacher Fang answered cheerfully.
Teacher Fang was quite nice, especially to all the students in Senior Year One, Class Three. He was a very qualified homeroom teacher. This was probably because he was not very old, only in his thirties and not yet forty, making him easier for young people to get along with.
